Significato e curiosità
Le Twice sono tornate con un brano dedicato alle donne di tutto il mondo. “This Is For”, infatti, è un mantra per tutte quelle donne che non hanno ricevuto le giuste attenzioni dal proprio partner e che per tutta la vita si sono sentite messe da parte o poco considerate. I membri del gruppo invitano a prendersi ciò che gli spetta, mettendo da parte i ragazzi per concentrarsi sulla propria luce.
“Alza il volume” cantano ripetutamente durante il corso della canzone. Una frase non a caso, che invita le ragazze di tutto il mondo a lasciarsi il dolore alle spalle per iniziare a sfoggiare il loro sorriso più bello.
Una giornata ricca di comeback quella di oggi che non ha visto sulle scene soltanto le Twice, ma anche le loro colleghe Blackpink (qui trovi la traduzione della loro Jump) con cui non hanno mai nascosto di avere un profondo legame di amicizia.
